Over 400 Dead, 600 Missing as Mudslide Hit Sierra Leone (Photos) 


Sierra Leone commenced a week of national mourning on Wednesday to mourn over 400 people killed by Mudslide. Rescue workers stepped up their search for victims of the mudslide that ravaged a town outside of Freetown on Monday morning.

Vice President Victor Foh told Reuters at the scene: “It is likely that hundreds are lying dead underneath the rubble.”
